It's true. I spent all weekend playing that bloody game and didn't work on one piece of art or writing. BLEH!!

Anyway, I am anticipating this weekend. Spending an entire weekend with some close friends in a 250 year old house which used to be part of an old plantation. Nearly all the land is gone, once hitting upwards of 2000 acres, but now sits on less than 100 acres. The original well, school house, and summer kitchen still stand on the property.

I am taking photos this weekend, hopefully with some very nice shots of the inside. Might even capture some ghosts. HAHA!!

The house is reputed to be haunted by a little girl named Betsy. In research on the old place, we found out that one of the four owners had a small daughter by the same name who died of pnuemonia back in 1876. So it may be true. The owners of the house have reported strange noises and a little girl laughing in the upstairs rooms and the old ballroom which was later converted into a small apartment.

Some of the house is in ruins, mostly the summer kitchen off of the main house. Here's to catching something on video, digital cameras, and audio devices. It's a ghost hunt!
